Location: Langille’s Metal Recycling
Langille’s Metal Recycling/Truck Parts is looking for a skilled and safety-focused Operator to join our growing and dynamic team. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in operating heavy machinery efficiently and responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavator/material handler and various attachments
- Perform daily inspections, maintenance checks, and greasing of equipment
- Identify and sort metals accurately
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and project timelines
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures diligently
- Take initiative and work independently when needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment with multiple attachments
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- KNOWLEDGE OF METALS TYPES
