Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations within the food service department, ensuring that all activities align with our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of food service staff, manage kitchen operations, and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a positive customer experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to promote teamwork and efficiency.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols to ensure the health of customers and staff.
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and reporting.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and special events.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality management, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
