Title of the Position: Industrial Painter
Job Duties:
- Apply protective coatings, primers, and finishes to roofing systems, structural steel, and industrial surfaces in outdoor and elevated environments
- Perform surface preparation including cleaning, grinding, sanding, power washing, and abrasive blasting as required
- Inspect and prepare roofing and steel substrates to ensure proper adhesion and coating performance
- Mix and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Safely work at heights using fall protection systems, including harnesses, lifelines, guardrails, and elevated work platforms
- Operate equipment such as airless sprayers, compressors, scaffolding, and man lifts in a safe and effective manner
- Follow all site-specific safety requirements, including PPE standards, hazard assessments, and toolbox meetings
- Identify and report hazards, deficiencies, or unsafe conditions in accordance with company and client safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and work areas throughout the project
- Adhere to environmental controls and containment procedures when working with coatings and materials
Terms of Employment:
- Estimated 2 month project
- Full-time for the length of the project
Language of Work:
Wage:
- $46.11 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Skills Requirements:
- Proficient in using and maintaining industrial painting equipment
- Proficient in using and maintaining personal protective equipment
- Knowledgeable in different metal substrates and paints
- Working at Heights ticket
- Aerial Work Platform ticket
- Read and interpret work orders/ drawings
Education:
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- Trade Certificate
Work Experience:
- Proven experience in painting/coatings in a industrial setting
Additional Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working at heights
Pay: $46.11 per hour
Flexible language requirement:
Experience:
