As a Roller Operator, you will play an important part in helping paving work meet quality standards and stay on track. This role supports day-to-day site execution by contributing to consistent compaction outcomes, safe equipment operation, and close collaboration with paving crews throughout active construction work.
- Operate rollers to compact asphalt and aggregate to required density standards.
- Perform pre-start inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance needs.
- Monitor surface conditions and adjust rolling patterns for quality compaction.
- Work closely with paving crews to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
- Follow site safety procedures and document daily equipment and work activities.
