Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various painting jobsites. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, physically capable, and possess a strong work ethic. Prior experience in construction or labour is great!
Duties
- Assist painting crew with preparation duties.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform various tasks
- Support setup and take-down of job sites.
- Perform general maintenance tasks with tools and paint sprayers such as cleaning and equipment upkeep
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems is preferred
- Attention to detail. Preparation duties and painting duties require critical review to ensure work is performed to quality standards.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills related to maintenance and landscape care
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must have transportation to job sites across Simcoe County
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
