Full-Time Level II Dental Assistant
We are a busy general dental practice offering comprehensive dental care and are looking for a full-time Level II Dental Assistant to join our team.
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Friday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
- Place and remove dental dam
- Apply sealants and topical fluoride treatments
- Prophylaxis
- Take and process dental radiographs
- Fabricate and cement temporary crowns and bridges
- Assist with orthodontic procedures (placing separators, ligature ties, arch wires under supervision)
- Prepare and maintain operatories before and after procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Perform chairside assisting during restorative, surgical, and endodontic procedures
- Record clinical notes and update patient charts
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain dental equipment and report maintenance needs
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory
- Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- No minimum experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with treatment coordination
- Professional and patient-focused attitude
