Summary
In the role of Order Desk / Customer Service, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer support while managing inquiries and processing orders efficiently. Your core skills in communication, phone etiquette, and customer service will be vital in ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, your order entry skills and analysis will enhance operational efficiency. Some experience with plumbing and mechanical knowledge will be an asset in this role for addressing customer needs effectively. Primary Duties
- Serving walk-in customers, taking customer phone calls, and responding to customer emails
- Promoting products and processing sales through computer system, taking payment
- Contacting vendors to find products
- Picking products from warehouse for customer orders, occasionally making custom hoses, using equipment
Relevant Experience
- Customer Service at a company dealing in plumbing / industrial parts, supplies, tools, and/or equipment (relevant experience is an asset, but not required)
- Experience with pipe and pipe fittings, industrial or hydraulic hoses, tools and power tools, fasteners and hardware of all types, landscaping tools and equipment
- General mechanical background. Familiarity with tools/hardware/mechanical things
