We are seeking an Application Solutions Developer to join our team based out of our Calgary office. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), with a strong focus on automation, data integration, and AI-enabled solutions. This internal client-facing role drives innovation, improves operational efficiency, automates business processes, and delivers data-driven insights across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, leveraging SharePoint and SQL Server as primary data sources. Incorporate AI capabilities such as predictive insight, intelligent automation, and copilots where applicable.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define scope, and translate needs into technical solutions.

Lead and/or support business process mapping, workflow design, and gap analysis initiatives.

Build and maintain data models, integrations, and workflows that ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

Deliver user training sessions and develop supporting materials to ensure successful adoption of solutions.

Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for deployed applications.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and process flows.

Ensure solutions align with organizational governance, security, and compliance standards.

Stay current with emerging Microsoft and AI technologies, recommend enhancements or innovations where applicable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Related University degree, college diploma, and/or trade certification and typically 5 or more years of related experience; or combination of formal education and experience.

Relevant professional designation or certification (or working toward one) is considered an asset.

Experience developing Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) solutions.

Proven ability to drive digital transformation, including automation and AI adoption.

Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand processes, identify pain points, and deliver best practice and agile solutions.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
