Middle Beach Lodge is looking for a Food and Beverage attendant to complete our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, reliable, and has a strong attention to detail! The breakfast attendant will either work alone or with others in a team, to ensure that our guests enjoy a complimentary buffet style breakfast overlooking the ocean.
The Breakfast Attendant will report to the Breakfast Supervisor, Food and Beverage Coordinator, and Lodge Manager. Preference will be given to individuals willing to sign a 6 month contract.

What You’ll Do:
Breakfast Service
- Open the lounge and dining room each morning
- Set up and maintain the continental breakfast buffet
- Brew coffee and bake pastries for guests
- Welcome guests and assist with any requests during breakfast service
- Refill buffet items, beverages, and supplies as needed
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean dishwashing area
- Maintain proper sanitation of the kitchen, buffet, and guest areas throughout the shift
- Put away deliveries and restock supplies
- Clear and pack away the breakfast buffet
- Prepare and restock for the following day's breakfast service
- Complete additional cleaning tasks and duties as required
Dinner Service
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Prepare and serve beverages behind the bar
- Assist the kitchen team with food preparation as needed
- Polish cutlery, glassware, and other service items
- Set up and maintain dining and bar service areas
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, bar, and service stations throughout the shift
- Complete closing duties, cleaning tasks, and side work
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure an outstanding guest experience
- Perform additional duties as required
About You:
- Experience working in a kitchen is an asset
- Food Safety Certification, or ability to receive certification prior to starting
- Serving It Right BC Certification
- Customer service orientated and friendly
- Positive can-do attitude!
- WHMIS Certification
