Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Office Manager to support our day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This part-time, in-person role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge who can work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain and reconcile multiple accounts
- Process payroll and payroll-related filings
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare, file, and remit taxes
- Manage employee health insurance administration
- Assist with year-end closing
- Coordinate courier shipments
- Purchase office and plant supplies as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping experience
- High proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Strong accounting and financial knowledge
- Experience working with Canadian government agencies and compliance requirements
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Schedule
- Part-time
- Expect 20-30 hours per week, flexible
