Job Summary
The HVAC Manager will oversee the HVAC division, as well as projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills. This position will need to compile estimates for clients in both tender and design scenarios residentially and commercially, as well as handle the challenges of daily service calls and emergency repairs.
Duties
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project lifecycle
Experience
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry with strong technical knowledge of HVAC equipment
-Gas Fitter license is considered an asset.
-Strong understanding of preventative maintenance contracts
-Proven experience in managing HVAC projects
-Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
-A strong knowledge of hydronic heating would be beneficial
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
