Position Overview
As a Physiotherapist at Move Better Health & Performance, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions while developing individualized treatment plans to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and achieve their health and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and functional movement assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, and rehabilitation programming.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, exercise, and long-term self-management strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
- Stay current with evidence-based practice through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and legally authorized to practice in Ontario.
- Strong clinical reasoning and knowledge of musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for helping people improve their health through movement and exercise.
