Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flatwork Finisher to join our concrete curbing team with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete flatwork with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where concrete finishing knowledge and hands-on skills are essential for success. Candidates with experience in concrete finishing and forming will thrive in this position. Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing results
- Assist in the setup and preparation of work areas, including assembling forms or preparing substrates
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members
- Conduct quality checks throughout the finishing process to identify and correct imperfections
Experience
- 5 years experience in concrete finishing is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors for long hours.
- Physical capabilities for kneeling, bending and lifting over 50 lbs.
- Basic skills in spreading, floating, cutting and troweling concrete.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read grade and slope.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
- Must have a valid license and ability to drive to job sites.
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
