Job Description
To properly set up Continental Breakfast and/or Hors d'oeuvres and Beverage. Serve and assist guests as needed in a friendly, courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*Report to work at scheduled shift in proper uniform.
*Ensure proper set up and presentation of food, beverage and all necessary supplies. Have coffee ready to go at opening in the AM.
*Replenish food, beverage and supplies as needed.
*Make sure hot food is kept hot and cold food is kept fresh.
*Ensure proper set up of snacks at the end of shift.
*Bus tables as needed.
*Turn TV on to a news station.
*Pre-set up for the following shift.
*Ensure all office supplies are available in the Business Center and stocked as needed.
*Ensure proper clean up of the lounges, kitchen area and refrigerators.
*Ensure proper storage of all food and beverage items.
*Greet customers immediately. Be friendly and sincere.
*Assist guests as needed, observe guests; anticipate needs and take action
.*Maintain follow up logs.
*Take inventory of food, beverages and supplies.
*Stock inventory.
*Replace plates, napkins, cups, glasses and silverware that are taken down to the dish room or out of the Lounge.
*Practice correct food and safety and sanitation procedures.
*Recognize and correct conditions which may create security and accident hazards.
*Answer basic inquiries. For example: time outlet hours, etc.
*Must perform all other job tasks and requirements as asked by management.
*Must adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
Must be able to work independently.
Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Excellent people skills.
Must meet grooming standards.
Shifts will be 4 hour shifts, 4 days per week
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.87 per hour
