Early Childhood Educator/Assistant
TEMPORARY Maternity Leave Position: Full Time

Start Date: Full time hours start August 4, 2026. Substitute shifts may be offered upon hiring.
In this role, you will:
- Work within our early years programs, primarily with our infant toddler program, with children from birth to 35 months.
- Provide active, engaged supervision, count in ratio, and assist in planned experiences/activities.
- Assist in cleaning, sanitizing, and facility maintenance as needed and directed.
- Establish positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideal candidate is a certified Infant Toddler Educator, but we are also considering Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Educator Assistants - preference will be given to fully licensed ECEs.
- Current Child Care Emergency First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain at own cost.
- Adaptability, positivity, flexibility and the energy to thrive in a growing, fast-paced organization.
- Experience working in licensed child care settings will be considered and asset.
- Cleared agency criminal record check.

Rate of Pay: $22.00 – $28.50 per hour dependant on certifications/experience. This position is within a $10 A Day OFM program and as such does *not* qualify for the $6 government wage top up – wages are exactly as listed.
Position Terms: Temporary Maternity Leave (August 2026 - August/September 2027,) Full time. Program operates Mondays – Fridays, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
