Social Media & Content Coordinator
Part-time contract · 10–20 hours/week · Storm Crow Manor, Toronto
Storm Crow Manor — the Church Street bar that the Toronto Star called “Toronto’s greatest geek bar” and NOW Magazine called “Canada’s nerdiest” — is hiring a part-time Social Media & Content Coordinator.
We are the creators behind Dungeon Meals (decided by a d20), host drag monthly brunches all housed within a fully renovated Victorian Mansion filled with all things Nerd.
The Role:
- 10–20 hours per week on a part-time contract
- On-site at 580 Church Street for photoshoots and in-store Marketing tasks.
- Reports to the GM and works closely with the kitchen, bar, and events team.
What you’ll own:
- Instagram, TikTok, and other channels — content calendar, posting, and community replies
- Short-form video: concept, shoot, edit, caption, post
- Still photography for menu launches, events, cocktails, and the themed rooms
- Responding to DMs across channels
- Email marketing: drafting, designing, and sending newsletters and event announcements to our subscriber list
- Designing in-house promotional materials — posters, menu inserts, table cards, event signage
- Brand voice: fandom-literate, playful, inclusive, never corporate
- Light reporting on what’s working
What we’re looking for:
- Experience running social channels
- Comfort with design tools (Canva, Figma, or similar) for posters, signage, and email layouts
- A portfolio of short-form video and photography — mobile-first is fine
- Sharp instincts for what travels on TikTok and Reels right now
- Genuine fluency in geek and fandom culture
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Based in or near Toronto and able to be on-site for shoots
