Dean Group's Manufacturing division is now recruiting for
Coolant Technician (Machines) for one of our reputable clients in Guelph.
Position: Coolant Technician
Assignment Length: Temporary, with the possibility of long term or permanent employment
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Occasional off shift work may be required.
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
Vacancy Status: This posting is for a currently vacant position that we intend to fill.
About the Role:
This is a physically demanding, labour-intensive position in a very dirty industrial environment. It is not a skilled trade role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Removing the tanks from the machines
- Cleaning tanks and refilling once assembled back together
- Record coolant readings at the end of the day.
- Top up machine oils and track usage.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including lubricating machinery, changing filters, and checking fluid levels.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience performing coolant changes.
- Automotive experience.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working in hot environments.
- Comfortable performing dirty, labour intensive work.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks.
