Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced full service restaurant manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations across our service-oriented business. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of management principles. This role involves supervising staff, managing sales strategies, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Recruit, interview, and train new staff members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase store visibility and sales
- Monitor pricing strategies and adjust as needed to remain competitive in the market
- Supervise cashiering activities, cash handling, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and facilitate training & development programs for staff
- Coordinate decisions to optimize inventory levels while controlling costs
- Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and store presentation
- Utilize strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or store supervision with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in merchandising, sales management, pricing strategies, and POS systems
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
- Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks
- Ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers
- Customer service orientation with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience
- Familiarity with marketing techniques relevant to retail environments
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines efficiently
