We are looking for a highly organized, energetic, and driven Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to help expand our sales pipeline, strengthen our online presence, and support our growing business development team.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales support, marketing, relationship building, and organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in generating leads, supporting outreach campaigns, organizing marketing initiatives, coordinating meetings, and assisting in the quoting and sales process.
This is a fast-paced role with growth opportunities for someone looking to build a long-term career in logistics, fulfillment, supply chain, and business development.
Major Accountabilities:
Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Research and identify prospective clients and business opportunities
- Build and maintain lead lists within the CRM system
- Conduct outbound email campaigns and follow-up outreach
- Assist with cold calling and scheduling meetings for the sales team
- Coordinate and organize sales appointments, presentations, and discovery calls
- Help gather customer information required for pricing and quoting opportunities
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and customer onboarding documentation
Marketing & Social Media
- Create and schedule social media content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
- Assist with marketing campaigns and brand awareness initiatives
- Help create and organize marketing materials, brochures, presentations, and promotional content
- Coordinate direct mail and marketing package distribution
- Support content development highlighting Northland’s services, capabilities, and customer success stories
- Maintain consistency in branding and messaging across all channels
CRM & Administrative Coordination
- Keep CRM systems updated with lead activity, notes, and opportunities
- Track outreach campaigns and report on lead conversion activity
- Organize customer and prospect databases
- Support reporting and pipeline management for senior leadership
- Assist with market research, competitor analysis, and industry intelligence gathering
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in business development, marketing coordination, inside sales, or related roles
Skills and Knowledge:
Language: English
Computer: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office, Outlook
Personal:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with outbound calls and professional email outreach
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms
- Social media management and content creation experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transportation is considered an asset
