Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of menu items with attention to quality and presentation excellence.
- Cook meals according to recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring proper portioning and presentation.
- Menu development over time with a focus on seasonal features with local ingredients.
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Maintaining a fully stocked new kitchen setup.
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining environment
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with various kitchen or service duties as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking is preferred and ongoing training will be provided.
- Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is beneficial
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry will help ensure smooth integration into the team
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for delivering excellent customer service
