Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently met. Prior experience in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and custodial work
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures (industrial cleaning experience is a plus)
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
