Job Overview
We are seeking to hire Cashier and Line Cook to join our team.
CASHIER DUTIES
- Greet and welcome customers using professional customer service skills
- Learn and memorize menu in order to effectively communicate the difference between food items to customers
- Use Clover POS system to take customers’ orders
- Responsible for preparing takeout containers, in-house food trays, and bags to ensure efficient ordering fulfillment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully-stocked front-of-house and dining area throughout the shift to ensure a welcoming environment for customers
- Maintain and organize storage and inventory area
- Work closely with kitchen to uphold clear communication when relaying orders, modifications, and/or special requests from customers
- Responsible for opening and closing duties
- Help out kitchen when needed
LINE COOKS Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and kitchen procedures.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a kitchen setting.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight guests.
