We are looking for a service-oriented and organized professional to join our People Services team as a People Services AssistantReceptionist. This role provides administrative support across the department while also serving as the first point of contact for People Services, welcoming visitors, responding to inquiries, and helping connect employees and internal partners to the information and support they need. The position supports a range of activities related to employee records, training coordination, documentation, and routine departmental processes, while ensuring a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and service.
What you'll do

Act as the first point of contact for People Services, providing reception support and a professional, welcoming experience.
- Respond to and direct phone, email, and in-person inquiries, escalating complex or sensitive matters as needed.
- Provide administrative support across the department, including document preparation, file maintenance, and day-to-day coordination.
- Maintain employee records with a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality, and record retention.
- Coordinate training and development activities, including scheduling, registration, communication, and logistics.

Enter and maintain data and documentation in various systems, and provide backup support for position control activities.
- Support employee recognition and awards programs.

Provide clear information to employees on routine programs, policies, and procedures.

Complete work with accuracy, professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

HR diploma or certificate or equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field.

Two (2) years of related experience in an administrative support capacity including extensive involvement in providing customer service, utilizing office technology and other coordination and administrative support duties.

An equivalent combination of management approved training and education may be considered.
