This role involves providing high-quality haircuts, styles, and grooming services while also engaging with customers to enhance their experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, styling, and grooming services according to client preferences and current trends.
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Engage in retail sales by promoting hair care products and upselling services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices to continually improve skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in barbering and/or hair styling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A commitment to sanitation practices and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekdays and Saturdays.
