About the Role
Hokusan Tea Canada is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for an energetic, relationship-driven individual who enjoys meeting new people, building long-term partnerships, and representing a premium Japanese tea brand rooted in quality and authenticity.
As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in expanding Hokusan's presence across Canada's café, restaurant, hospitality, and foodservice industries. You will serve as an ambassador for our brand while helping clients grow their businesses through premium Japanese tea solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit new and existing clients to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Generate new leads through prospecting, networking, cold outreach, referrals, and in-person visits
- Handle client inquiries through visits, phone calls, and email communications
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Follow up with clients and provide ongoing account support
- Organize and support tastings, events, trade shows, and promotional activities
- Maintain accurate client records, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system
- Track and report sales performance and market feedback
- Work toward monthly and quarterly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure excellent client service and customer satisfaction
- Share customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence with the team
Qualifications & Requirements
All of the following are required unless otherwise noted:
- 1–3 years of sales, business development, or account management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience using a CRM system (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced startup environment
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Canadian work authorization with a minimum of two years remaining, Permanent Residency, or Canadian Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
- Ontario driver's license or access to a reliable vehicle
- Interest in Japanese culture, Japanese tea, foodservice, specialty beverages, or hospitality industries
Work Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
- Work in a hybrid environment (remote and in-person client visits)

Salary Range
Monthly $3466 - $4333
