Pinnacle Hospitality owns and operates several hotels and restaurants in Vancouver, North Vancouver and Whistler.
We are seeking a Sushi Chef to join our culinary team at one of our downtown Vancouver locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sushi preparation, excellent knife skills, and a dedication to delivering authentic Japanese cuisine.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sushi dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated regularly
- Assist in menu development by suggesting new sushi creations and seasonal specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Uphold the restaurant’s reputation by consistently delivering high-quality sushi dishes
Skills
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or cook or similar role in Japanese cuisine
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of raw fish and seafood
- Creativity in sushi presentation and menu innovation
- Passion for culinary arts with a focus on authentic Japanese cuisine
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
