We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bilingual Furniture Sales Associate to join our growing team. We are a family owned business that offers a wide selection of quality furniture and home furnishings. Our pieces range from modern to traditional, and we also customize and carry a variety of Canadian-made pieces.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable furniture and mattress solutions.
- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and value.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
- Prepare sales quotes, process transactions, process financing applications, and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Maintain product knowledge across all furniture categories.
- Assist with showroom presentation and merchandising.
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Previous furniture sales experience or a strong background in retail sales.
- Bilingual (English and French) required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
