We are a professional mechanic shop located in Bowmanville. We work on, and maintain our own fleet of trucks. Trucks consist of street sweepers, hydrovacs, roll offs, water trucks, dump trucks, etc.
We are looking to add another mechanic to our team
We are looking for a licensed 310T mechanic to join our team. We are looking for someone with experience doing safeties, maintenance and engine repairs.
Our fleet of street sweepers are brand new. Typical work on these units consist of servicing, replacing brooms, repairing hydraulic lines, tightening conveyor chains or installing new if needed.
Our fleet of water, hydrovac, dump, roll off and stone slinger trucks are a mix of newer and older trucks. The older trucks are pre emissions which keeps them more reliable with proper maintenance.
Looking for someone who is an extremely well rounded mechanic. You also must be able to problem solve and diagnose DPF /emissions issues, wiring issues, etc. as a lot of our fleet is newer with these aftertreatment systems.
You must also be 310T certified and have experience performing safeties. We are set up with the new drive on system doing safeties with tablets.
For diagnosing issues we have a shop laptop equipped with TEXA software and Mitchell1.
Job is completely full time Monday to Friday. No weekends.
Start time is 6am and end time is 5pm.
You must have your own tools & toolbox.
We are looking to hire as soon as possible.
This job is full time year round.
Pay is bi-weekly, we provide company paid benefits.
