Account Transitions Coordinator for an exciting opportunity in Toronto, ON. Responsibilities

Manage transition mailboxes and initiate or investigate account transfers within established service level agreements.

Review transfer requests with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Investigate transfer issues and communicate with clients when requests are not in good order (NIGO), including documenting rejection reasons.

Contact relinquishing institutions by phone and email to investigate transfer statuses and resolve outstanding issues.

Review rejected transfers and resubmit requests once all requirements are met.

Process cash and securities journals related to account transitions.

Interact with clients to resolve account transition inquiries and provide timely updates.

Enhance the client experience by identifying efficiencies and recommending process improvements.

Collaborate with internal teams and partners to support digital adoption and operational improvements.

Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports to support internal and external requirements.

Meet with clients to explain transfer processes, requirements, and timelines.

Identify trends related to transfer initiations, rejections, and asset movement.

Create and update user guides and process documentation as required.

Support high-volume periods, including overtime when required.
Qualifications
-
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Post-secondary education with 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Experience in financial services, account administration, transfers, or client operations is considered an asset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues and communicate solutions effectively.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing as a team member.

Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

Experience with systems such as IBM-OSS, AS400, CDS/ARROW, or FUNDSERV is considered an asset.
Nice to Have

Bilingual in French and English.

Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification.
