Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role is essential in supporting the overall hygiene standards of our organization and providing a positive experience for everyone who enters our premises.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies are low
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and dependability
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
