Position Overview
We are currently hiring highly qualified Security Guards for a public location . These are permanent full-time positions.
This role is suited for experienced professionals who can operate independently and maintain high standards in a public-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong, professional, and authoritative presence
- Conduct proactive patrols and identify potential risks
- Monitor public activity to ensure safety and compliance
- Respond effectively to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required
- Complete detailed, accurate, and professional reports
- Enforce site policies with confidence and professionalism
Requirements (Strict)
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable security experience required
- Police Foundations diploma preferred
- Valid G Class Driver’s Licence with clean abstract
- Use of Force Certification (required)
- CPR & First Aid (Level C) – current and valid
- Strong experience in conflict management and de-escalation
- High-level report writing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of working 8-12 hour shifts (standing/walking)
- Clean criminal background check
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Must have a vaild work permit
Preferred Assets
- Experience in public or municipal security environments
- Previous mobile patrol or supervisory experience
- Additional training in crisis intervention or mental health awareness
- Strong communication and leadership skills
