PCE Supervisor (Pressure Control Equipment Supervisor)Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PCE Supervisor to support daily operations within our Equipment & Recertification Shop. Reporting to the District Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing shop activities, supporting technicians, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and leadership to recertification shop employees
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety policies, and quality requirements
- Create and manage work orders, ensuring all steps and sign-offs are completed accurately
- Report non-conformities to Quality Control in a timely manner
- Coordinate and schedule rental and service team activities
- Support training and development of new and existing team members
- Collaborate with inventory and shipping teams to ensure parts availability and timely deliveries
- Oversee receipt, documentation, assembly, and testing of equipment (company and customer-owned)
- Ensure proper preparation and shipment of equipment
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Participate in after-hours on-call support for customer needs, service requests, and rentals
- Foster a positive, ethical, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of coil tubing and wireline equipment/products
- Minimum 3 years of oil & gas industry experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Preferred:
- Experience with coil tubing and wireline products
- 5+ years in the oil & gas industry
Work Environment
- Shop-based role with moderate to high noise levels
- Requires heavy lifting and extended periods on your feet
- Safety-sensitive environment requiring PPE at all times
