Job Summary
Mister John Auto Collision is seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Body Prep Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Prep Technician, you will be responsible for prepping surfaces for paint to ensure a seamless finish. This is a full-time position for the candidate who has a passion for vehicles and is detail driven. The position offers competitive pay and benefits.
What you will do, but not limited to:
- Body filler a must;
- Masking and taping with detail and precision;
- Dry and wet sanding;
- Smooth, sand and buff;
- Follow production and repair order processes;
- Workplace Safety a must;
- Keep work area clean and organized;
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
What you bring to the Team:
- 4+ years experience in the automotive industry, prepping vehicles;
- PPG Refinish Training an asset;
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail is a must;
- Departmental cross training is an asset, and will be compensated;
- Excellent work ethic, a self-starter with a team player focus;
- Strong command of the English language and able to effectively communicate;
- Positive attitude with ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Valid Ontario Class "G" driver's license and clean drivers' abstract;
