Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to security concerns.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes.
- Enforce security policies by checking credentials and controlling access points.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining security protocols.
Skills
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV operation and monitoring.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious activity quickly.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
