We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated individuals who enjoy working with kids and are eager to gain hands-on experience in STEM education, leadership, and technology. This role is ideal for students or early-career individuals looking to build experience in teaching, robotics, coding, and social media content creation within a growing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist students (ages 6–14) in robotics and coding lessons using RoboLabs’ curriculum.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration during classes and camps.
- Support students as they build, program, and test robotics and coding projects.
- Help maintain a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
- Assist with tracking student progress and communicating updates with parents when needed.
- Capture photos/videos of projects and classroom activities for RoboLabs social media platforms.
- Assist with creating simple social media content, posts, and promotional material.
- Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the centre.
- Participate in training sessions to learn RoboLabs teaching methods and technology platforms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with children (tutoring, camps, mentoring, coaching, volunteering, etc.) is an asset.
- Interest in robotics, coding, STEM, education, or technology.
- High school or post-secondary students with robotics or coding experience (LEGO® Robotics, VEX, Scratch, Python, MakeCode, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
- Comfortable using social media platforms such as Instagram or TikTok.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to take initiative.
- Creative, adaptable, and confident working with technology.
