Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Manage cash handling accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional guest services by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth operations
- Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Assist with food preparation when necessary, following proper food handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations, sanitation standards, and alcohol service laws
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple guests promptly
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality or guest services background is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is desirable
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food industry knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
