Job Summary - Edmonton OR Calgary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber with gas ticket to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Journeyperson Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that plumbing systems operate efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety standards.
This starts part time and transitions to full time.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential buildings
- Utilize hand tools and power tools
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installation or repairs of plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Collaborate with HVAC professionals to ensure integrated system functionality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes during all plumbing activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on plumbing systems.
- Must have a gas ticket.
- Must have worked with Residential furnace and hot water tank change over.
- Proficiency in HVAC principles and practices.
- Experience in maintenance tasks related to plumbing and construction.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools for plumbing work.
- Familiarity with construction processes and carpentry skills is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Capability for heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
- Experience in assembly tasks related to plumbing fixtures and systems.

Pay: $28.02-$48.89 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Licence/Certification:
- Gasfitter - Class B (preferred)
- Journeyperson Certificate (required)
