Key Responsibilities
At SignNation, we take pride in doing great work and delivering signage our clients—and our team—can be proud of.
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Sign Installer who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and getting the details right. Every project and job site is a little different, so adaptability, good judgment, and a positive attitude are important.
This is a hands-on, physically active role that may occasionally require evening or overnight work. It can be demanding, but it’s also rewarding to see a project come together and know you helped make it happen.
We value people who show up, work well with the team, take ownership of their work, and care about the quality of the finished product. When someone brings that attitude consistently, we make sure it’s recognized.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a variety of signage, fixtures, and vinyl at client locations, ensuring every installation meets SignNation’s quality standards.
- Complete thorough site checks, including accurate measurements, site-condition assessments, and clear photos. Submit detailed reports to the project manager on time.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients while on-site, responding appropriately to questions or concerns.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges, make sound decisions, and find practical solutions when unexpected issues arise.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets the approved specifications and the client’s expectations.
- Travel to different job sites in company vehicles to complete installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Perform electrical work involving LED, neon, and fluorescent lighting components.
- Work safely from aerial lifts and at heights. Valid Working at Heights certification is required.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and ready for use.
- Approach every job with care, professionalism, and close attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and safely operate lift equipment.
- Experience installing signage and working with vinyl.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in signage and vinyl graphics installation
- Certification in vinyl graphics application
- Comprehensive knowledge of substrates and their compatibility with various installation materials
- Expertise in fastener selection, fastening details, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, translating specifications into effective on-site work
