About the Role
Improve Centre is looking for a Marketing Assistant to support event planning, vendor
coordination, content creation, website updates, reporting, and day-to-day marketing
administration.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable
coordinating multiple tasks. The Marketing Manager will lead digital advertising strategy and
execution, while the assistant will support marketing operations, event logistics, content
creation, reporting, and day-to-day coordination. This position reports directly to the Marketing
Manager.
Key Responsibilities
● Create social media posts, event graphics, flyers, and other marketing materials
● Support email campaigns, social media scheduling, and content coordination
● Coordinate end-to-end event logistics and manage a diverse event calendar
● Communicate with vendors regarding events, offers, participation, and required materials
● Assist with website updates, event pages, vendor information, and landing page content
● Organize information using Google Sheets, Excel, and Monday.com
● Collect vendor feedback, lead updates, and event performance information
● Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
● Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva with demonstrated graphic design
capabilities
● Familiarity with ESP and CRM systems, as well as WordPress, HTML, and CSS
● Strong understanding of social media content creation and ability to develop content that
meets brand objectives
● Ability to coordinate events or manage project timelines
● Strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills
● Comfortable working with Google Sheets, Excel, and Monday.com
● Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
● Comfortable working with vendors, team members, and external partners
● Photography or short-form video content creation is an asset
Education
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Media or Graphic Design is preferred.
Equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
