We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or ECA to join our Reggio-Inspired, Nature Program. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and nature-based learning principles.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and discovery outdoors and indoors.
- Support children’s social-emotional development through positive interactions and caregiving practices.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive curriculum that integrates natural elements into daily learning experiences.
- Observe and document children's progress, interests, and developmental milestones to inform planning and parent communication.
- Assist with the care and supervision of children during indoor activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that reflects the natural aesthetic of the program.
- Communicate effectively with families about children’s experiences, progress, and needs.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings.
- Experience working with children with diverse abilities is highly desirable.
- Background in teaching or caregiving roles within early childhood programs or similar environments.
- Knowledge of or interest in Reggio Emilia philosophy and nature-based educational practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and community partners.
- Compassionate caregiver with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's growth through outdoor exploration and creative play. This position offers an enriching environment for educators passionate about innovative early childhood education rooted in nature-inspired learning methods.
