We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the food processing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and manage a team of production workers.
- Ensure that production schedules are met while adhering to quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the production schedule.
