Overview:
The purpose of the Security Officer role is to ensure the property is secure and all personnel coming and going are monitored. This position will also include some administrative duties.
Position Responsibilities:
- Making sure property is always secure and safe.
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
- Controlling access to the site or facility through pre-approved access control and security systems.
- Monitor property for trespassing and report accordingly.
- Foot patrol inside and outside of the property as scheduled.
- Administrative office duties as assigned by management.
- All other tasks as assigned by Management.
Position Qualifications:
- Previous security experience required.
- A valid security license an asset.
- Previous administrative experience considered an asset.
