Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable AZ Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials efficiently across construction sites, quarries, or industrial locations. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, adherence to safety standards, and smooth operation of heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate AZ class commercial dump trucks with precision, ensuring safe loading, hauling, and unloading of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and heavy equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before each shift.
- Load and secure freight or materials using appropriate tools and techniques, including forklift operation when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition throughout each shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to prevent accidents or incidents on the road or job site.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal working condition.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as skissteers safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to heavy hauling.
- Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
