Some Context Before You Apply This is not a call centre role. There's no queue, no headset, no ticket system. Alpha3dge places teams at live consumer events across North York on behalf of established brands, and this Customer Service Representative position sits right at the front of that — you're the first person a consumer speaks to, and often the last. How you handle that matters.
Day to Day You'll be stationed at brand activations and community events throughout North York. Consumers will approach with questions, skepticism, genuine interest, and everything in between. Your job is to meet all of it with the same level of patience and professionalism — explain what's on offer clearly, work through concerns without getting flustered, and make sure the person in front of you feels like they were actually heard.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for consumers at live brand events across North York
- Explaining client products and services in plain, accessible terms
- Working through questions and objections with patience and accuracy
- Resolving each interaction clearly
- Maintaining accurate activity records across each shift
- Staying current on campaign details as they update
- Contributing to collective team targets at every activation
What We Need From You
- Able to read a room and adjust without being told to
- Composed when things get busy or a consumer gets difficult
- Reliable enough that the team doesn't need to check in on you
- Open to being trained and retrained as campaigns evolve
- Background in any service-oriented environment — retail, hospitality, reception — is a genuine asset
- No prior experience is fine if you're coachable and consistent
- Reliable transportation and full-time availability in North York required
