Position Summary
MS Associates are responsible for accurately moving, scanning, and preparing materials and finished goods for timely shipment and inventory accuracy. This role supports production operations by supplying work centers with required packaging materials, work-in-progress (WIP) products, components, and finished goods. MS Associates also ensure the safe and efficient handling, storage, and transportation of materials throughout the facility while maintaining shipping, inventory, and operational standards.

Operate forklifts and hand carts to move, load, and unload finished goods and empty bins.

Transport and scan finished goods (FG) parts from work centers to designated staging areas.

Move parts from finished goods inventory to staging areas according to release requirements.

Prepare packing slips and bills of lading to ensure accurate and timely shipments.

Maintain an adequate supply of totes, dunnage, racks, and other packaging materials at production lines.

Strap, wrap, and package orders securely for shipment.

Unload, sort, and organize returnable packaging received from customers.

Promptly report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues.

Respond promptly to workstation pages within assigned work zones.

Ensure all components, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods are accurately scanned to the correct inventory locations.

Follow stack height and storage procedures when storing bins in work centers and storage areas.

Support weekly and monthly finished goods inventory cycle counts.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisors.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

Position requires frequent sitting while operating forklift equipment, as well as regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing in and out of equipment throughout the shift.

Requires frequent maneuvering of materials and pallets as part of daily warehouse and shipping activities.

Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 lbs occasionally.

Requires strong visual awareness and attention to surroundings to safely operate equipment, inspect loads, and maintain workplace safety standards.

Employees may rotate between forklift operation, material handling, shipping, receiving, and inventory-related duties to support operational efficiency.

Work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment with changing operational priorities and regular interaction with moving equipment.

Valid forklift license with demonstrated experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Ability to operate efficiently and safely in a high-volume warehouse and distribution environment.

Capable of working independently while also supporting team-based warehouse operations.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately move, stage, and verify materials and shipments.

Ability to inspect loads, pallets, and products for damage or inconsistencies.

Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for safe forklift maneuvering and material handling.

Ability to learn and utilize warehouse management systems and handheld scanners for inventory tracking and shipping activities.

Flexibility to work overtime or extended shifts as needed to meet production and shipping schedules.
