Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sawyer/ Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing and custom cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, joinery with the ability to interpret blueprints and cutlists. This role involves creating high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces, ensuring precise craftsmanship and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry components.
- Cut Parts on a sliding table saw
- Assemble, cabinets and wood components using other materials using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Install cabinet hardware within manufacturing facilities with precision.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Assist with material estimation as needed to optimize workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Skills
- Proficiency in technical drawings.
- Experience with woodworking tools including hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Strong understanding of woodworking techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship quality.
