Join our team! We currently recruiting for an Day Production Operator. If you are selected you must be eligible to obtain a controlled goods clearance.
- Pay starts at $18.17 to $18.40
- 4% vacation pay
- 8:00AM to 4:00PM Monday to Friday
The Day Production Operator will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide assembly line support to various machines and production lines
- Follow established workplace health and safety systems and procedures
- Inspect various products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Record and report on the quality of the products in the appropriate systems
- Transfer and pack items in a timely manner and move the products to the appropriate location in the warehouse
- Perform regular in-process inspections
- Read, follow, and perform tasks per Work Instructions without variance
- Communicate relevant workstation information during Shift handover
- Use secondary equipment when required, such as count scales, label printers, auto-bagger machine
- Organize, prioritize, resource, and execute organizational objectives
- Contribute and foster company-wide standardization for a safe and healthy work environment
- Report risks and opportunities for improvement related to area of responsibility and manage resolution where appropriate
Overnight Production Operator requirements:
- Hold at least a Secondary School Diploma or GED
- Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday
- Written, Oral, and Spoken communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and data reporting skills
- Light industrial experience would be considered an asset.
