We are looking for a passionate and licensed Acupuncturist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide safe and effective acupuncture treatments, develop personalized care plans, and work alongside our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health history and treatment goals.
- Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans based on patients' needs.
- Perform acupuncture treatments using sterile, single-use needles and other approved Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, where appropriate.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients on treatment expectations, home care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and professional practice standards.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
- Diploma or Degree in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- CPR and First Aid certification is considered an asset.
