Roles & Responsibilities
- Good Knowledge in Unix and Oracle.
- Good Experience In production support Environment
- Able to provide Application team support for code deployment and any other issues
- Experienced in Service Now, Grafana, APPD monitoring., Kibana, OpenShift
- MongoDB Knowledge is more advantage.
- Well versed in troubleshooting incidents, problem determination and resolution, performing root-cause analysis and preparing executive summary for management updates.
- Thorough knowledge in stop/start services, environmental parameters.
- Experience on working with product vendors/technical specialists to resolve issues.
- Well versed in apply fixes/patches and service packs as required. Ensure application stability through preventive maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of best practices in design and implementation. Provide technical expertise/support to development team.
- Expertise in Autosys Scheduling tool is preferred and any Monitoring Tool (ITRS is added advantage)
- Candidate should be open to learn new technologies and build automation systems
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving job issue, user access issue, application setup issues.
Mainframe Skills:
- L2 Production Incident Management – Resolve escalated production issues (batch failures, abends, CICS/DB2/MQ issues), perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes with L3 teams
- Batch & Online Processing Support – Support critical SOD/EOD and intraday batches, troubleshoot JCL, scheduler (OPC/CA 7), file transfers, and ensure SLA adherence for Capital Markets processing
- Mainframe Application Support – Provide application support across COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, IMS, MQ, including performance and availability issues in trading and post trade systems
- Change & Release Support – Support production deployments, emergency fixes, pre/post implementation checks, and coordinate with change and release management to minimize business impact
- Capital Markets Business & Compliance Support – Support business critical Capital Markets flows (trade processing, settlement, reporting), ensure regulatory runs, documentation, audit readiness, and on call support during market hours
