Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Appliance Service Technician to join our team where you will be the driving force behind maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial appliances. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with commercial appliances using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigeration units, ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Assemble, install, and calibrate new appliances according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, provide maintenance advice, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all service activities to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems.
- Hands-on experience with appliance repair across commercial settings; HVAC/R knowledge is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with assembly processes for installing new equipment or components.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Prior experience working with commercial appliances required.
Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
